Generally, 140 ~ 165 mesh / cm polyester or nylon screen is selected for bottle screen printing to ensure the covering power of ink layer and complete curing of UV ink during printing.
Selection of wire mesh
In bottle printing, especially when UV ink is used, the selection of screen is relatively strict. The mesh size of the screen is ideal between 140 ~ 165 mesh / cm, which is to ensure that the UV light can completely penetrate the ink layer during UV curing and ensure that the ink is fully cured.
Rubber scraper
The hardness of the rubber scraper is generally 75 ~ 85 degrees, and the specification is 5 × 25 flat scraping or sharp scraping can be used. The rubber scraping should have the characteristics of wear resistance, solvent resistance, etc. The choice of rubber scraping hardness and angle has a great influence on the fineness and ink amount of screen printing. For fine pattern printing, it is generally required to select the rubber scraper with high hardness. As for the angle of the rubber scraper, in theory, the best angle is 45 °. At this time, the edge of the rubber scraper contacts the screen plate in a straight line. Considering the pressure during printing, the angle of rubber scraper shall be greater than 45 °. If the hardness of the rubber scraper is too small and the angle is not selected properly, it will increase the amount of ink, affect the curing degree of the ink, and then affect the adhesion of the ink.
Workmanship
The screen printing ink layer should not be too thick. Too thick will make the penetration of UV and ultraviolet rays not strong, so that it is not completely light fixed. Naturally, the adhesion will be affected.
