Screen printing silicone ink on bottle
If you plan to print bottles with silicone ink,you must prepare bottles,automatic rotary machine,etc.Different size bottles need different clamps.You must do test before making clamps.
The silicone ink is liquid.If your logo on bottles is very small,you must use mesh 100-40T or 120 mesh-48T.Otherwise,the printed line is not pretty.Because the silicone liquid will flow during screen printing.
How to avoid the defect during screen printing bottle?
YR silicone advises you print bottles by following instructions.
-You adjust the viscosity of silicone ink.You increase the viscosity of silicone product.
-You use less thick screen plate-YR silicone advises you use 0.4 mm thickness.
-You adjust the pressure of rotary machine before screen printing.
-You adjust the printing angle of rubber squeegee.You can use the angle 80°.It can reduce the silicone ink flow more on the bottles.If you print the bottles with angle 60°,more silicone ink will flow on bottles.Then the printed pattern will be very blurry.
-You can adjust the speed of rotary machine to avoid the defect too.
When you finish printing one bottle,you'd better use the conveyer oven to bake the bottle at 130℃,baking 10 minutes.
The mixture ratio:100:2
You can add more catalyst if you like fast dry.
If you need high thickness,best 3D print,you can make the thick screen plate.The thickness can be 0.5mm.Don't let the thickness above 0.6mm.If it's too thick,it's very difficulty to print the silicone ink.
The screen plate size need lengty 48*width 29*Height 2.5cm.Don't be too large.If the screen plate is too large,you cann't fix the plate on rotary machine.
If you want your screen plate to be durable,you msut brush the hardening water on plate mesh.
You must bake the plate dry before usage.
