How to make best hoodie lace with silicone ink?
It's well-known that it's not easy to dip rope,hoodie lace with silicone ink,especially, dripping matte silicone.You will meet many challenges,such as white dot,silicone ink going up the rope head.
When you dip the hoodie lace or shoeslace,rope with black matte silicone,you must do test before mass production.
YR silicone shares you several methods to solve these challenges.
Step1:You need use slow thinner XG-128AH to adjust the silicone ink XG-20S-1.Mixture ratio:Add 100g XG-20S-1 with 10g slow catalyst XG-MB-1,140g XG-128AH.Please mix them thoroughly.Please add thinner slowly.You can add 50g thinner XG-128AH,mixing them,then pouring 50g,after mixing it,you can pour remainder of thinner.The method can let silicone ink XG-20S-1 mix well,without particles.As a result,you can dip excellent rope.You can use vacuum machine to let bubbles go out before dipping.You can use one plastic cup to dip the rope manually if you have no automatic machine for dipping rope.You dip the clear silicone one time.After waiting for five minutes,you use the baking oven to bake the rope for dry at 80℃,about 1hour.
Step 2: Please use cutting machine to cut the rope head.
Please dip black silicone ink for rope.You add 100g XG-20S-1 with 10g slow catalyst XG-MB-1,5-10g black pigment XG-501,140g XG-128AH.
You can dip the hoodie lace two times.Please bake it every time.During production,you can use one flat paper to level the rope head if you find more silicone flowing.
Step3:You drip the rope with matte silicone.It's key step.In order to avoid white dot on rope head,you need use fast thinner XG-128A to adjust the viscosity of matte silicone XG-136M-1.
Notice:Please add 100g matte silicone XG-136M-1 with 10g slow catalyst XG-MB-1,200g XG-128A.After mixing them,please use mesh fabric to filter the matte silicone ink.Then you use vacumm machine to get bubble out.Then you only dip one time.Please wait for 5-10 minutes before placing rope in oven to bake.
