What's the embossing?
Embossing is when a pattern, design, or text is added to fabric of t shirt,hoodie,etc through a process involving one mold,embossing machine,pressure and heat. YR silicone recommends you set up the mold:upper mold temperature 180℃ and lower mold temperature 80-120℃.The pressure time is often 15-20 seconds.It will be different according to the design size.The process results in the design being raised up from the rest of the fabric. This creates a beautiful and tactile effect that exudes luxuriousness.
What fabrics can be embossed?
Almost any fabric with better heat resistance can be embossed with designs, patterns, or text including cotton, leather and pleather, polyester, velvet, and fleece. This high-end effect works better on some fabrics than others. One reason for this is the heat involved in the embossing process – materials that burn, shrivel, or shrink with the application of heat will not be the ideal fabrics for embossing.
If you need the fabric embossing with best washability,you need use the silicone ink with high hardness,YR and XG silicone recommend you use the silicone product XG-360KY-65.Meanwhile,you need make the mold little larger than your design.Thus,there is more silicone on fabric embossing side.It's longer to keep good 3D shape.If you don't like the remainder of silicone on backside,you can make 2.5mm larger than the original design.

How To Emboss Fabrics

The stencil is 100mesh-48T.You need add 100g silicone ink XG-360KY-65 with 10g catalyst XG-360BH-1,mixing them well.You need print the mixed silicone ink on fabric or t shirt.Then you start the embossing machine.Please place the fabric printed silicone ink on mold.You start pressing.You will get the amazing fabric embossing after 15 seconds.
