Screen printing is the process of printing silicone ink、Water based ink、plastisol ink or other ink into one flat surface(clothes,shoes,hoodie,or other textile product) or irregular products,such as toy,bottle,keyboard,etc.The print master can print ink with automatic machine,semi-automatic machine or manual screen printing on table.During screen printing silicone based ink,you must install one automatic oven on table if have no screen printing machine.No matter what kind of screen printing ink you use,you should mix correct ratio of ink base and catalyst.Screen printing technology is not complicated in the world.If you print ink everyday,you'll be good at it.

How to choose the best mesh before screen printing silicone ink.

-screen printing mesh has S、M、T、ST,etc.We advise T mesh for liquid silicone rubber.If your clients pay much attention to superb soft hand feel,please use 120mesh-one square centimeter has 120mesh.Because one centimeter can be printed much more silicone products than 150mesh or 200mesh.So the silicone coating layer is very thick.However,when you print dye blocker XG-866F with automatic screen printing machine,you need use 100mesh.Otherwise,the dye block is not good.Because the silicone product XG-866F is made of dye block polymer and silicone resin.The 120mesh or 150mesh is very difficulty to print the dye blocker into garment evenly.

-Photosensitive glue is the key to print best design too.Because we need often clean mesh with thinner.Hence,the photosensitive glue must be good chemical resistanace.

It has one part glue and two parts glue.Please store the product at shady place without sunshine.

Silicone ink printing need print several kinds of silicone together.Different garment should use different silicone products.Today we tell you some screen printing methods.

-If the garment is bad heat resistance,you cann't bake it during sceen printing ink.We advise you self-drying silicone,such as XG-20S-1,matte ink XG-136M-1,glossy ink XG-399-2.The undercoating silicone is  XG-80C1.

Firstly,print undercoating ink XG-80C1.Add 100g XG-80C1 with 10g fast catalyst XG-KB-1.

Secondly,print silicone XG-20S-1.Add 100g XG-20S-1 with 10g XG-KB-1.

Lastly,print glossy silicone XG-399-2.Add 100g XG-399-2 with 10g XG-KB-1,15g thinner XG-128AH.

They can be self-drying without heat in 6hours.Surface dry need 10-15minutes.Please keep workshop clean.

-If you need high elongation silicone,please use XG-866A-2,XG-360Z-3,XG-866M-6+.

Firstly,add 100g XG-360Z-3 with 5g catalyst XG-360Z-3B.Print two layers.It's heat cure silicone.Please bake everytime for surface dry.Don't bake it too dry.Otherwise,it'll delaminate.

Secondly,add 100g silicone ink base XG-866A-2Y with 3g catalyst XG-866B-2,10g thinner.Print two layers.Bake them for surface dry too.

Thirdly,screen printing color ink.Add  100g silicone ink base XG-866A-2Y with 3g catalyst XG-866B-2,10g color pigment,10g thinner.Screen printing times depend on the thickness of pattern.

Lastly,print glossy or matte finish.Please place the printed product into oven to bake 5-10minutes at 120-130℃.
