Matte silicone ink cann't be printed more two layers.Otherwise,the silicone ink will crack.During screen printing the matte silicone ink,please push the squeegee slowly.Let the silicone ink flow thoroughly.You will avoid the bubble.The silicone ink XG-866M need add the silicone thinner XG-128AH.We advise adding 10-15% thinner by the weight of silicone ink.Because the silicone reducer will help you obtain the best workable viscosity.Please bake the matte silicone ink layer surface dry with one oven.The baking temperature is 100-120℃.Please note that you need wait for five minutes before baking the screen silicone printing ink.
The squeegee must be beveled rubber 65-75°.The mesh is 120.When your design is small pattern,you need use 150-160mesh. Large design can use 100-120 mesh.
Why do you use different mesh for different design?
Because the 120mesh can not print the clean edge for small design pattern.The 120mesh will flow much more silicone ink on the garment.So the screen printing pattern is not great.
What steps do you print silicone ink?
Step1
Print undercoating silicone ink XG-360Z-3,catalyst XG-360Z-3B
Ratio:add 5% catalyst XG-360Z-3B in the silicone ink XG-360Z-3
Remarks:Screen silicone ink printing on nylon,polyester ,water-proof nylon need use printing XG-360Z-3.But cotton garment doesn't print the undercoating.
Step2
Printing high density silicone ink XG-866AH,adding 2-3g catalyst XG-866B-2 in the silicone ink XG-866AH.
We advise printing the mixed silicone ink for two clear ink layers.
Then mix 100g silicone ink XG-866AH,2-3g catalyst XG-866B-2,10g color pigment,10g silicone reducer XG-128AH.
Please print the color silicone ink for 4-6layers.
Step3
Mixing 100g matte silicone XG-866M,2-3catalyst XG-866B-2,10-15g silicone thinner XG-128AH.
Screen printing the mixed silicone ink for 1-2layers.
After printing the matte silicone,please bake the silicone ink layer surface dry in several minutes.
The silicone liquid is high elastic rubber silicone.So it's excellent abrasion resistance,superb soft hand touch.
