Heat transfer silicone XG-866A-2Y is excellent flowability,clear silicone ink.In addition ,the silicone ink can be printed on garment,such as tatami fabrics heat transfers.It's two-component,low heat cure silicone ink.Its catalyst is XG-866B-2.Mixing 100g silicone ink XG-866A-2Y with 3g catalyst XG-866B-2,10g silicone thinner XG-128AH.You can add 4-6g catalyst XG-866B-2 in the transfer silicone ink if you need fast cure.It's 20kg/pail.

Causes and solutions of problem arising fro use of silicone ink 

A common problem in screen printing silicone ink is jagged margins(include missing broken lines)at the edges of the printed garment.There are many reasons for burrs,but the main reason is screen printing mesh,screen printing techniques.

  1. The resolution ratio of photosensitive adhesive is not high,resulting in broken or incomplete fine lines.

  2. If the exposure time is insufficient or the exposure time is too long,the development is not sufficient,and the edges of screen printing silicone ink graphics and text are not neat and jagged.For the good screen printing mesh of silicone ink,the edges of pictures and text should be smooth and neat.

  3. The screen printng surface is not flat.When screen printing silicone ink,there is still a gap  between the screen printing silicone ink and substrate.Due to the suspended penetration of the  silicone ink,burrs appear on the edge of the printing liquid silicone rubber surface.

  4. During the printing silicone ink process,due to the expansion of the sceen printing mesh after contacting the silicone ink,the different degrees of expansion  in the warp and weft direction,the surface of screen printing mesh is uneven,and there are gaps in the contact surface between the screen printing plate and substrate during printing silicone ink.The silicone gel is suspended in the air to penetrate and the screen printng ink there will be burrs on the surface.

    In order to prevent the appearance of the burrs,the following solutions can be considered.

    (1).Choose the high-mesh screen plate making.

    (2).Select high-resolution ratio photosensitive adhesive for plate making.

    (3).Making a screen printing silicone ink plate with a certain film thickness to reduce expansion and deformation.

    (4).Try to use the diagonal stretching method to stretch the net,and the best angle is 22.5°.

    (5).For the fine line printing silicone ink,use the indirect plate -making method as much as possible,because the indirect plate-making method is less likely to have burrs.

    (6).In the process of plate making and printing silicone ink,try to control the temperature expansion factor ,baking silicone ink layer and use the photosensitive materials with small expansion coefficients.

    (7).The distance between the screen printing silicone ink and substrate,the angle of squeegee ,and the printing pressure should be appropriate.

    Reasons and solutions for uneven silicone ink penetration during screen printing ink

    (1).There are various reasons for the uneven thickness of silicone ink layer.As far as silicone ink is concerned,the silicone ink,catalyst,reducer are poorly prepared or mixing wrong ratio .During to silicone ink for screen printing,the action of silicone ink,catalyst,heat of print table will make the silicone ink's viscosity highly or surface dry.The hole of mesh will be blocked.So the silicone ink cann't pass through.In order to prevent the failure,the prepared silicone ink(especially the old silicone ink) should be filtered with a mesh before use.When reusing a used plate,the old silicone ink adhering to the plate fram and mesh must be completely removed with silicone thinner XG-128AH.When storing the printing plate after printing,please wash the plate sufficietly(include the squeegee).If the above requirements are done,the uneven silicone ink penetration will not basically occur.If the tip of front end of the blade is damaged,there will be traces in the direction of movement of the scraper.Especially when screen printing clear silicone ink or transparent substrate,there will be obvious uneven silicone ink penetration.Therefore,the front end of sharp squeegee must be well protected so that it will not be damaged.If it's damaged,it must be carefully ground with a grinder or buy one new squeegee.The unevenness of printing table will also affect the uniformity of silicone ink penetration.The convex part is thin,and the concarve part is thick,this phenomenon is also called uneven silicone ink penetration.In addition,if there is dust on the back of substrate,or on the printing silicone ink table,the above-mentioned failure will occure too.

    Reasons and solutions for the inability to fix the silicone ink on substrate

    (1).The uncoating silicone ink XG-360Z-3 from YR SILICONE  can solve the problem.When meeting the inability to fix the silicone ink on nylon,polyester,etc,please print the silicone ink XG-360Z-3 for two layers on garment before screen printng other silicone inks,such as transfer silicone,high density silicone,puff silicone,blocker,glossy silicone,matte silicone.The silicone ink XG-360Z-3 adding 5% catalyst XG-360Z-3B.Please bake the silicone ink layer for surface dry every screen printing.
