What is screen printing silicone ink?

Screen printing silicone ink is the process of transferring a stencilled design onto a flat surface using a 120 -150 mesh screen,silicone ink and a rubber squeegee with 65-75°beveled angle.The silicone ink base is clear ink.When screen printing silicone ink,please mix 100g silicone ink base with 3g catalyst thoroughly.The screen printing silicone ink is high density ink.

Cotton,polyester,nylon,and  microfibe cloth,t shirt,hoodie are the most commonly screen-printed surfaces

When you print silicone ink on nylon,polyester,please print undercoating silicone XG-360Z-3 or XG-136AB.

The basic method involves creating one screen mesh.The mesh size is 120 if your design is large pattern.Small design need 150 mesh.The print edge will be very neat and nice.

High density screen printing need use high density silicone ink XG-866A,XG-866AH,XG-866A-LK.These silicone inks are the best ink from YR SILICONE.

Silicone ink is simple process.You only push the silicone ink through the mesh screen.

You will create an imprint of your  design on the flat surface of garment.Every print layer of silicone ink need be surface dry by baking the silicone ink at 100-120℃,about 10seconds.

Screen printing techniques:

Mix 100g silicone ink base with 3g catalyst

Using adhesive tape to cover edge area of mesh screen to avoid waste of silicone ink.

Add 10g color pigment by the weight of mixed silicone ink(catalyst).

Start automatic oven to bake the screen silicone printing ink.
