Sports gloves(labor gloves),sports protective gear(shoes cover,knee pads,etc),clothes,shoes,insoles,socks,hats,bags,swimsuits,diving suits,health underwear,horse riding breeches,etc.Please note the following fabrics:
*Waterproof fabrics:such as nyon fabrics,ribbons,polyester webbing,polyester rope,becuase some surfaces have no fibers(which have been waterproofed),the silicone prints have no firmness,but some nylon and polyester fabrics or ribbon are not waterproofed,and the firmness is very good.please print silicone ink for trial before mass production.Please print undercoating silicone XG-360Z-3 if it's still poor adhesion.
*Ribbons,EVA fabrics and fabrics dyed black or blue:such fabrics are prone to chemical reaction with silicone ink,resulting no-drying,no firmness,color migration(please print the blocker XG-866F for two layers),etc.It's recommended to use the silicone ink for trial before mass production firstly.
*Leather:this fabric is special,please do the careful and strict test with silicone ink.When the silicone ink meets your requirement,you will print your order.
*How does the silicone screen printing mix catalyst,color pigment when it is used?
When preparing the silicone ink,firstly add the silica gel color pigment into the transparent silicone ink at a ratio of 10% to make the desired color pigment,then mix the adjusted color pigment and curing agent(catalyst) evenly at a ratio of 10:1 or 100:2,and then start printing.Being aware:
The proportion of silicone ink color pigment in the silicone ink base should not exceed 15%,otherwise it will have a negative impact on adhesion,strength,drying time,etc.Because the silicone ink will form a stable network structure after curing,resulting in adhesion and strength ,and the pigment used in the color paste is different from silicone ink and cann't participate in the reaction of the silicone ink,so it's independent in the silicone ink network structure.The molecular structure of the existing,the more pigment content,the looser network structure.So the silicone ink layer will be poor adhesion.They will delaminate in the process of washing.
The ratio of silicone ink,color and curing catalyst must strictly follow the correct mixture from TDS YR SILICONE.The mixing technician should use electronic scale to accurately match the raio,but cannot estimate by experience.Otherwise,the adjusted silicone ink will either dry quickly or not cure,even baking at high temperature.
*How to print silicone ink one-color,multi-color,and over-color printing of environmentally friendly texitle silicone silk screen printing ink,and how to make the effect of right and rounded corners?
(1).Monochrome silicone ink printing:It can be printed once or multiple times according to the desired screen printing effect.Bake at 100-120℃ for 10seconds after screen printing ink one time.For multiple times of silicone screen printing ink,print a second time after each printing of silicone ink layer is dry,and bake after all printing.
(2).Multi-color screen printing silicone ink:Refer to the single-color printing of silicone ink,and print another color after color silicone ink drying one time.It can also be dried for the last time(silicone screen printing ink for the last color layer),but use the quick-curing agent(fast catalyst XG-866B-2 YR SILICONE)to make the previous color surface dry.
(3).Screen printing silicone color on another color surface:When printing the base color,the surface can be dry;When screen printng color ink,the base color must be dry.All colors are printed and then baked,not in the middle layer of silicone ink for baking,can prevent the delamination.
(4).Right angle of screen printing:It's also called high density screen printing with silicone ink.Please use high-viscosity silicone ink XG-866A,XG-866AH,XG-866A-LK,etc.These silicone inks are fast and easy to get the higher thickness of silicone ink layer after cured at baking 100-120℃.The squeegee must be at right angle 90° to push the silicone screen printing ink,and you can print multiple times(silicone ink layers).
(5).Screen printing silicone ink with rounded corners effect:Use low viscosity,excellent flowability silicone ink XG-866A-2Y or self-drying silicone ink XG-20S or XG-20S-1(We advise adding 10% silicone reducer in the silicone ink by the weight of silicone ink base).The angle between the squeegee and screen mesh is small during silicone ink printing.The leveling problem of the silicone,viscosity and the printed amount of silicone ink will determine the angle of rounded corners of screen printing.
(6).What kind of screen mesh is used when screen printing silicone is used for screen printing?
Silica gel has high viscosity and has chemical structure.On the other hand,when people use the silicone ink,the screen printing effect they pursure is thickness and three -dimensional effect(3D screen printing with silicone ink).Therefore,thick plates(mesh) should be used for printing silicone ink.Under normal circumstances,when use 80-120mesh guaze,when coating photosenstive adhesive to squeegee 4times,which can be used flexibly depending on the specific printing effect.
(7).What kind of silicone reducer is used for screen silicone printing ink YR SILICONE?
YR SILICONE will supply two kinds of silicone ink reducer XG-128AH and XG-128K.In summer,silicone screen printing ink uses the reducer XG-128AH.In winter,use fast dry reducer XG-128K.
(8).Common problems and solutions when using silicone ink for screen printing.
There are two reasons for not curing: one is that the ratio of curing agent( silicone ink catalyst) is not strictly mixed by 100:3 or 10:1.You mix silicone ink base with catalyst in not correct ratio.Other reason is that the fabric or background color of the fabric contains chemicals that poison silicone ink,such as rubber.
(9).Delamination:It's necessary to keep the printing silicone ink layer surface be dry after each printing during screen printing ink.The fingers touch a little sticky hand on the silicone ink printing layer,but no silicone ink on finger.Then you can start the next printing,but it cann't be completely dried,which may delaminate.
(10).There are air bubbles during silicone ink printng:there will be air bubbles left inside after screen printing ink,you need turn on the fan on the table to blow out the air bubbles,and then do not bake the silicone ink layer with a dryer or oven immediately,give a little time(3-5minutes)to let the silicone ink flow naturally flattern and bake again,otherwise the air bubble in the silicone ink will dry out.There are needle holes in the silicone printing.So it will affect the print quality.Bubble in the cured silicone ink is the result of high viscosity of silicone ink used for screen printing or too fast baking,and pinholes are also caused by the high viscosity of silicone ink,which need be repaired with glossy silicone or matte silicone ink last screen printing.
