(1) Connecting material
Binder is the main component of silicone ink, which has adhesion, fluidity and transfer performance, as well as fixed on the surface of printed matter. It is also called toner.
The binder also determines the rheology, viscosity, neutrality, acid value, color, water resistance and printing performance of silicone ink. The same pigment can be made into different types of silicone ink; And the same kind of connection material, can only be made into a silicone ink.
The binder can be made of various materials, such as dry vegetable oil, mineral oil, solvent and synthetic resin.
(2) Additional material
Additives are used to improve the performance of silicone ink in the manufacturing and printing of silicone ink.
(3) Pigment
There are two kinds of things that pigment changes color: organic pigment and inorganic pigment.
1. Inorganic pigments are oxides of nonferrous metals, which can be divided into artificial inorganic pigments and mineral pigments.
2. Organic pigment is a kind of colored organic compound. Now it is commonly used to synthesize organic pigment. There are many kinds of organic pigments with complete colors.
The pigment used in printing ink is highly required, especially in color, dispersion, light resistance, transparency, etc. the oil absorption capacity of pigment should not be too large.
(4) Fillers
The filler is white, transparent, translucent or unsightly powder. It is mainly used for filling.
