Undercoating silicone is also called silicone adhesive or crosslinker.They are used for bottom screen printing on nylon,polyester or other cotton blender.They need to stick firmly to the surface of fabric,otherwise,the silicone printing ink will fail to wash.It's also called delamination.Please check the delamination photo as follows;
How to avoid the ink through bottom?
We tell you two screen printing tips to avoid the defect.
1.Please bake the fabric at 120℃,about 3minutes.Because the silicone adhesive is low heat cure ink-silicone based ink.When you preheat the fabric to curing temperature of silicone,the ink coating will be cured much faster,thereby avoiding ink through bottom.
2.Please use the high viscosity silicone adhesive XG-360Z-3X.It's our new product for screen printing this year.It'll have much better fastness than old product XG-360Z-3.The new silicone product uses the platinum catalyst XG-866B-2 like high density silicone XG-866A,transfer printing silicone XG-866A-2Y or 3Y,glossy silicone XG-399-3,matte silicone XG-866M-6+.
How to improve the abrasion of glossy silicone?
It's well-known that sportswear need excellent abrasion resistance.So the screen printing silicone ink on sportswear must also meet higher abrasion resistance.
1.Please mix 30% silicone XG-866A-2Y with 70% glossy silicone XG-399-3.Mix the two kinds of silicone screen printing ink thoroughly.Then add 3% platinum catalyst XG-866B-2.We advise you add 15% silicone reducer XG-128AH too.It can increase the flowability of ink and avoid bubbles.
2.In the case of sacrificing the transparency of glossy silicone,please add the wear-resistant material into the glossy ink to improve the wear-resistance of the silicone product.
