Types of silicone ink for screen printing:
Screen printing silicone ink is divided into one-component silicone ink and two-component silicone ink.One component silicone ink is also called room temperature cured silicone.Its cured reaction relies on the moisture of air to be cured into silicone elastomer,so the storage conditions are high,and the storage time is relatively short.
Two-component silicone ink is not cured by the moisture in the air,but it's cured into silicone elastomer by heating the silicone ink with platinum curing agent during screen printing ink.The curing temperature is generally at 80-150℃,surface drying about 10seconds.
Screen mesh requirements for printing silicone inks:
The selection of mesh is generally determined according to the printed graphics,designs,such as the thickness and size of printed patterns.Usually,the mesh is between 80-150.We advise the small pattern uses 150mesh.Large graphics use 80-120mesh.The printing thickness of silicone ink layer is between 0.1-2mm,manual printing with silicone inks need be done many times.When screen printing silicone ink for anti-slip socks,kitchen mitts,etc,they use the metal plate to print silicone ink thickness about 0.5-1.2mm.No bubbles during silicone screen printing ink from YR SILICONE.
